shabby table re-do

so i have been working on re-decorating my family room...we have almost finished up the board and batten. i promise i will post some pictures soon.

meanwhile i am working on some funner things for the room

i have SEVERAL things (projects) in mind for this room

first up is this lovely table i re-fab'd

i LOVE how this table turned out

this is what i started with

a drop leaf table that needed lot's of love

i painted a coat of primer

and then followed with a light aqua paint

i knew i was going to distress it but i still felt like it needed something else

so....

i decided to add a stencil

i am so glad i did:)

i then took it outside and sanded the heck out of it..

the end result is exactly the look i was going for

now comes the fun part

bringing it inside and loading it up with stuff

i will post some photos after it all comes together

OVERWHELMED

this sweet girl does not get near enough of the attention that she deserves

she is the one that gives this guy the majority of the attention he gets

and this is the way i feel most of the time

this is Josie she is my youngest {4}, she is with me everyday all day except for Wednesday & Friday from 9-12 for preschool
Josie will turn 5 in 17 days
some days i find myself thinking i can't wait till she goes to Kindergarten
and at the same time i find myself sad when i think about it
its bittersweet for me
she still needs me, and i still need her to need me
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
right now i am very busy with orders
not as busy as Christmas time, but i am still very busy
and everybody wants their jewelry yesterday
my house is a mess all the time
i am finding myself completely unorganized
and i want to exercise
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i don't mean to sound ungrateful, because i am very grateful
i love what i do, i love that i am able to do it
i have a very wonderful husband/father this is also very supportive
i am just very overwhelmed and i need to find a way to be more organized
and to stop and enjoy this time i have with her
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i know i am not alone in this
how do you stay grounded?
i would love to hear your ideas....
